LUISJA was born in the early 70's in Ponferrada (León), a small city in the northwest of Spain. His vocation for the DJ booths begins at the age of 14, when he surprises everyone by winning a local DJ's contest organized by the local radio station. Cadena SER, managing to overcome the technique of older and more experienced DJs. Always linked to music since he was a child, he spent 6 years learning music theory and piano. At the age of 18 he had already participated 3 times in the SPANISH DMC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, becoming among the top 25 in the country. Throughout his career, he has taken his sets to different parts of the Spanish geography: Galicia, Castilla y León, Madrid, Murcia (La Manga), the Balearic Islands.

In Madrid plays music in Plaza del Rey and Montera 33 with Pedro Serrano in the first years of Tryp Family legend (WEEKEND, GOA, MUSEO CHICOTE)…

In Mallorca he captivated the public in the east of the island with his sessions at XIROY and later at PHYSICAL (Cala Rajada).
