The first time LUISJA had contact with some "LENCO" dishes in the booth of a nightclub, she was twelve years old, one of the three nightclubs that her father managed. At the age of 14 she accidentally participated in a DJ contest organized by Cadena SER in Ponferrada (El Bierzo), her hometown. The surprise was huge when he won said contest alongside older and more experienced DJ artists, but LUISJA was already betting on Hip Hop sounds and especially House Music, something that had been passed on to him by his first great DJ master in 1985 when he came from Valladolid with two Technics decks and a lot of musical class as background.

House music has always been the basis of an always defined style, which led to hard times in which techno and the most "aggressive" electronic music brought a generation of DJ's who mocked their own roots in the 90s, and that they have had to recognize as such well into the new century.
